Lacrosse open house and registration beginning

Lacrosse is a big deal in our house and while my children are still too young to start playing with the Brooklyn Crescents…your children may be just the right age! My friend wrote me yesterday to say that “both (her) boys have done this program last spring and fall and it was great.”

The Brooklyn Crescents Lacrosse Club is a lacrosse program in Brooklyn for children in kindergarten through 8th grade.  The K-2nd grade program introduces young players to the sport of lacrosse through fun skill drills. No games are played against other opponents. The 3rd/4th, 5th/6th and 7th/8th grade teams practice weekly and play games against youth teams from other cities and towns.  And, although the Spring 2011 season runs from March 6 – June 12, it’s time to start registering.

If you want to learn more about them, there is Parent Information and Outreach Mixer on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 from 7-9PM
