One of the best things about living in Brooklyn is the cool types of classes that our kids (and parents!) can try out…and for free. This Monday is an opportunity to take advantage of…free pop-up dance classes with Dancewave at Pintchik Hardware in Park Slope. Yes, a decidedly odd partnership- but it makes sense when you consider the curated development Pintchik has done with its “block” of storefronts in Park Slope. Dancewave has started a new initiative to bring dance out of the studio and into community spaces and so Pintchik’s empty storefront was a perfect venue. The February 7th community event is one of several opportunities to take a dance class at low or no cost preceding Dancewave’s Spring Semester, which runs from February 12th-June 6th. Other Open Houses will be held on January 29th (Kids & Teens), February 11th (Babies & Toddlers) and February 13th (adults). A full schedule is available on their site.
