Free acupressure workshop for parents

Who hasn’t tried a little acupressure on their own?  We press down on our kid’s boo boos to stop them from hurting or rub their tummy when they are having bathroom issues. We even pinch that sweet hand tendon to get rid of a particular annoying headache at times, but- wouldn’t it be great to learn some professional techniques to add to our own instinctual ones?

“Introduction to Self-Acupressure: Natural Relief of Kid’s Complaints”,  the third in a series of workshops about learning natural techniques to improve family health, will address how to do learn some new skills.

In this seminar you will focus on easing symptoms such as ear-ache, fever, gas and colic or whatever is of concern to participants.  You will learn techniques borrowed from Acupressure and Craniosacral Therapy as well as massage therapy. You might pair up to work with someone else, so get ready for some sweet pain relief for yourself too.

“The instructor, Elizabeth D. Poole, PhD, LMT, is a NYS Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in Craniosacral Therapy and Jin Shin Do® Bodymind™ Acupressure.  She delights in witnessing the transformation of the stress caused by pain and discomfort into a life of comfort, ease and flow.”
