Brooklyn’s ever-expanding playground for kids and adults down at the Piers will open a new section of Pier 6 by summer. This new park area includes 3 sand volleyball courts, 2 lawns, pathways and planted areas for picnics. As the weather warms in the coming weeks, the pier landscaping and plantings will be installed. The restroom will be finished with wood cladding. Finally- restrooms!
