This free workshop by Slings in the City is a great way to learn all about the different carriers, how to tell if a carrier is safe and correct positioning for newborn through toddler. The Brooklyn Slings in the City co-leader will have lots of carriers for you to try on or you can bring your current carrier for help and troubleshooting!
Slings in the City gets together regularly to trade, compare and learn about new carriers. It’s “(their) idea of play for the grown ups — and so that the kids can play too.” They have meetings in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Northern NJ and Westchester County. They also often get together for special outings like going to the zoo, hiking and other fun things.
