Evaluation/Placement

Sat, May 21, 2011 at 1:00 PM

What is an evaluation? When is it necessary? How do I go about requesting an evaluation? Evaluations can lead to a change in placement for a student with a disability or a primary placement. What options are available within the special education system? This workshop will go through the process of seeking an evaluation, and will help students understand evaluations and how they can drive an appropriate placement for the student with a disability.

Facilitated by the Brooklyn Parent Center, Brooklyn Center for Independence of the Disabled, Inc. (BCID).
