There is an overload of great events in Brooklyn this weekend. Essential events for foodies include the debut of Smorgasburg in Williamsburg. This Brooklyn Flea newcomer boasts 100 plus food vendors and everything you need to get your kitchen in top-chef shape. Gourmands can not miss the Food Truck Rally that will gather famous food trucks together at the entry to Prospect Park. It’s a perfect location: stock up on dumplings and smoothies and head into the park for a day of sunshine and picnicing. If you are more of a shopper, there are the Brooklyn Flea flea markets which represent the pinnacle of the flea world, or a small one with kids’ activities and live music at the Carroll Park ball fields. If you seek more of an artisan market, you can’t go wrong with Brooklyn Craft Centrals’ “Under the Archway” event this weekend.
