Get your head around Brooklyn schools at SchoolFest

Everyone knows how daunting the NYC school search can be- you only need to watch Nursery University to get a taste of it. Whether you are just beginning to look into daycare, schools or are looking for middle or high schools, this week’s SchoolFest can help you.

This school fair by TownSquare, invites all schools (day care to high school, private & public) in one neighborhood (Greenpoint & Williamsburg) – to a single venue to promote their schools & programs to prospective students and parents.  There will also be college representatives and service providers present.  All in all, there will be over 50 schools and organizations coming.

I always suggest attending one of Joyce Szuflita’s seminars too. She is our School Expert on the site and has a wealth of information about the NYC public school process that she will be sharing at SchoolFest. The talks are normally $45 per family, but are sponsored by the SchoolFest and so will be free to all attendees.

12:00 PM     Pre K, K & Elementary Schools: Overview & Application Process

If you are bringing your kids, they can watch the student performances throughout the day.
