The recent horrible run of sex attacks and muggings in Brooklyn have created terror for residents all over. In response, KWT Canine Watch (K9WaTch) a mobile neighborhood watch composed of dog owners and non-dog-owners in the Kensington Windsor Terrace area, was organized to discourage crime and walk neighbors home. And, now a free self defense class will be offered this weekend to arm individuals with the knowledge of how to help themselves in appropriate situations. In addition, if you want to hear and discuss how to prevent crimes in your neighborhood, Assemblyman Brennan and Councilman Lander are scheduled to attend the class.
Sunday, October 23rd, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
