Whole Foods is Finally Green Lighted!

Great news today from Brownstoner that “The Board of Standards and Appeals voted unanimously moments ago to grant Whole Foods Market a variance to build its long-planned supermarket in Gowanus on 3rd Street and 3rd Avenue. The store has been in the works for 8 years, and the variance request represented the company’s last regulatory hurdle to building its first supermarket in Brooklyn.”

I couldn’t be more excited. I lived above the Whole Foods in Chelsea for about 6 years and loved going downstairs in my pjs to get that one tiny item that I craved. Or rolling the cart up to my apartment. Wonder if they will make apartments above this one as well? I might move if they do.
