The only requirements are that you must plant the tree in the ground and on private property. This means that you may not plant the tree on the street, in a container, or on a roof. Some of the species we will be giving away include: Winter King Southern HawthorneSouthern MagnoliaCrape Myrtle and River Birch. The trees are all planted in 3 and 7 gallon plastic containers, so please plan your transportation accordingly. After you get your tree loaded in your car, or walked home, hang around and help build a compost sifting table, remove trash and debris from the Salt Lot and the 2nd Ave. rain garden, weed, create a new berm garden, and other various tasks.
