Tonight: Bedtime Stories in the Garden

Tonight after dinner, dress your kids in their pjs and head to a lovely summer night tradition of story time at the Hoyt Street Garden. Every Tuesday through July, hear guest readers read, perform and even act out  favorite children’s books.  The whole event is free and also includes free lemonade and refreshments.

Bring your favorite children’s book and if there’s time, you can take a turn at the microphone.

Tonight’s readers are Audra Rox and Jennifer Milch of Audra Rox.

Organized by Maryanne Fishman and Margaret Cusack at the Hoyt Street Garden, the neighborhood tradition continues on after more than 30 years. They can always use some help, so if you can come early (6:20 pm) to set up chairs, mats and refreshments, please come to 124 Hoyt Street. (It’s also a great way to get your kids involved.)
