Living in NYC, kids can try just about any kind of sport or skill- from woodworking to ice sculpting, there is something for every taste. What’s not so easy is coming up with the money to test out that junior chef or kids’ yoga class.
But, this summer you and your children can dabble at all things art, from filmmaking to sculpture, all for free at the The Children’s Museum of the Arts (CMA). CMA offers free programming all summer long- either at their museum or in various locations throughout NYC. The workshops at the museum are free with the price of admission and their “Featured Workshops in the Community” below are all completely free.
It’s an awesome way for your children to try a new art form without the monetary commitment.
