The Police Athletic League has its biggest summer party tomorrow TODAY to celebrate the culmination of their Summer Play Streets program. Kids from ages 6-16 years can participate in a ton of activities including: Double-Dutch, tug-of-war competition, carnival games, Nok Hockey, inflatable obstacle courses, jumbo-sized board games, face painting and basketball. The New York National Guard Counterdrug Task Force will have a portable rock climbing wall there, along with drug prevention information.

Founded in 1914, New York City’s Police Athletic League is the first and finest civilian-run PAL in the country. PAL provides recreational, educational, cultural and social activities to over 50,000 boys and girls annually. It is also the city’s largest, independent, nonprofit youth organization.
