Don’t worry if you don’t know the words (song sheets will be provided), don’t worry if you don’t sing well (jingle bells will be provided): all you need to do is have the energy and spirit!
Join your neighbors for caroling tomorrow, Sunday, Dec. 23rd at 7:00 PM (Please be on time!). Children are definitely invited!
The Hoyt Street Association has been caroling in Boerum Hill for many years and it’s become a great neighborhood tradition. They sing outside of the homes of people who are new to the neighborhood, older residents, shut-ins, people who have a new baby or those who have suffered a loss. At each location, they ring the doorbell, stand at the sidewalk and sing two songs and then move on to the next location.
If you wish, please bring a musical instrument and/or a flashlight. Song sheets, Santa hats, jingle bells are provided. No singing experience is necessary.
