Weekly Events for Kids and Babies in Brooklyn including President’s Day Activities!

Hi everyone!

So on top of all the usual activities there are even more this week!  NYC public schools are normally closed this week but due to Hurricane Sandy they are only closed Monday & Tuesday. Regardless, many events are going on all week!  That will be great for families that have children too young for school! Fun events that could be less crowded like a Chinese New Year celebration or Kid’s Week on the Intrepid.

Take a look at all the fun events for Monday & Tuesday below for the children off from school! (note:  we are now listing events that go on all week in an ongoing section at the bottom so make sure to check out down there too) Museums that are normally closed on Mondays like the Brooklyn Children’s Museum or The Metropolitan Museum of Art are open and are having special events!

Also keep in mind some of the normal weekday events may be canceled this week for special events or break camps.  Some libraries have no storytimes this week.  Be sure to check with the location before you head out!

Stay warm and send me any fun events to events@achildgrows.com.
