Each year on Easter the best of the bonnets are showcased along Fifth Avenue as New Yorkers celebrate the holiday by roaming the streets in their most festive spring gear from 10am to 4pm. The parade marches north on Fifth Avenue, starting at 49th Street, but the best place to watch is from the area around St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

Topsy-Turvy: A Camera Obscura Installation by artists Sandra Gibson and Luis Recoder, will be on view from March 1 – April 5 while Madison Square Park  is open. Topsy-Turvy will re-imagine one of the oldest moving image devices into a life-sized 10-foot by 10-foot structure. You’ll be able to enter the large-scale installation, which will utilize the properties of light to capture images of the surrounding area in real time.

Gazillion Bubble Show at New World Stages Theater (MIDTOWN)
You’ve seen how your kids react to bubbles. Now, imagine how they would react to seeing people inside bubbles, or lasers shooting through bubbles, or bubbles within bubbles?!  They will be enthralled…and so will you. I’m been to this twice because we love it so much. Awesome show and well worth the price and trip.
