OK so last week we had a taste of Summer with super warm temperatures and April showers with that rain on Friday! Think this week is going to be a bit more normal! I am loving all the blooming trees and variety of flowers everywhere!
We have some outdoor events listed like the new Tree House Installation at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden or head off to the Prospect Park Carousel (remember it is only open Thu-Sun) or swing by the Audubon Center in Prospect Park on Thursdays or Fridays for nature programs from 1-4p (see the type of programs under Thursday below).
If you want some indoor events there are some new ones listed below! I discovered a new type of class called Parkour which is all about obstacles and its available at Bklyn Beast! Also found more yoga for little ones starting up at Dou Yoga this week and a WeeCreateBK started Open Play time this month! Also The Gym Park Open Play Spring Semester is starting this week. I also added more library storytimes so scroll on down and maybe check out a new library!
On Thursday April 18th the Tribeca Film Festival is starting! There are some family friendly movies & animation shorts that are airing this weekend and next week but you should probably look at the schedule now if you want to get tickets!
Hope everyone has gotten their taxes done! Have a great week and if you know of an event feel free to send me a tip at events@achildgrows.com
