The Wildlife Conservation Society’s New York Aquarium’s summer educational programming is back post-Hurricane Sandy with a new lineup of programs for children of all ages. Registration is now open for the 2013 summer camp season.

Aquarium summer camp programs are available for children ages 6 to 14.  All programs include age-appropriate hands-on science activities, animal encounters, exhibit visits, and arts-and-crafts. There will be opportunities for campers to meet keepers and aquarists who care for the aquarium’s animals. Every camper will get a camp T-shirt.  Each camper must bring his/her own lunch, but snacks will be provided.

For more information or to register for a program, visit www.nyaquarium.com/nyaeducation or call 718-265-3457.  Space is limited. Programs sell out quickly.

The Wildlife Conservation Society saves wildlife and wild places worldwide. We do so through science, global conservation, education and the management of the world’s largest system of urban wildlife parks, led by the flagship Bronx Zoo. Together these activities change attitudes towards nature and help people imagine wildlife and humans living in harmony. WCS is committed to this mission because it is essential to the integrity of life on Earth.
