Weekday events for April 29th-May 2nd in Brooklyn & Manhattan

swing valleyHi everyone!

Do you have Spring fever?  Wishing you could do everything outside?  I sure wish I was outside right now!  May is arriving in a few days!  Very exciting since that means days are getting longer and warmer and we are getting to spend more and more time outdoors!

Swing Valley in Brooklyn Bridge Park re-opened this weekend!  Has anyone stopped by yet?  This week looks like we may be getting some April showers for those May flowers!  If you need some indoor activities we have the Gateway Storytime at the American Museum of Natural History, local storytimes at a variety of libraries in Brooklyn, and open play at Play Dates & Parties and at ArtsCetera.

When the weather improves later this week we have some outdoor events too!  The Audubon House has Animal Encounter, Nature on the Go! & Nature’s Helpers Thursdays and Fridays the month of May!  The Brooklyn Botanic Garden Plant Sale is this week!  Also The Play Champs outdoor drop in play classes are starting in Prospect Park, Central Park & Battery Park!

We have something for everyone so make sure to scroll down for the full list of events and if you know of an event or know of a schedule change feel free to send me a tip at events@achildgrows.com.  Have a great week!
