July is Here! Weekday Events for July1st-4th in Brooklyn & Manhattan!

fireworksHi everyone!

Well July is here!  Such a great week of events.  Now that schools are finally closed the pools are open and there are more fun events starting up like the Wild Wednesdays at the High LineCityParks Tennis free tennis lessons all over NYC, Kids Music in the Grove in Fort Greene Park, Coney Island Flicks on the Beach and Regal Summer $1 Movie Express.

Also going on this week is the 4th of July!  All library branches and most places will be closed so you won’t have your usual Thursday fun and I am sure everyone will be BBQing with friends and family to celebrate the 4th and there will be other fun events going on like Clearwater Deck Tours at Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 6, Independence Day Family Fun! at New York Historical SocietyDeclare Independence at @ Lefferts Historic House and of course the Macy’s fireworks!  One day the kiddies will be big enough to stay up late and we can try and go see them!

Have a happy and safe 4th of July & feel free to email me at events@achildgrows.com with any tips you have on events in NYC!

Have a great week!
