Make an Iceberg, a Lava Lamp, Rock Crayons and More

Nicole and I visited Google’s NYC offices last week for a fun, interactive blogger lunch with about 25 other NYC based parenting bloggers.  We learned a lot about various Google tools and their corresponding safety features.  (If you missed our post about The Five Google Tools Every Parent Should Know About, be sure to have a quick glance to learn more about safety features, Google+ settings and things that are simply ‘good to know’.) We also saw some cool YouTube videos that we felt were worth sharing.

Below is a list of some easy, family-friendly science experiments you can find on YouTube.  These videos in particular are a great way to watch the experiments step by step with your kids and then recreate them as a fun summer activity.
