As we all head into another school year, many parents are looking for new and exciting activities for their children to be a part of this Fall. If you find yourself in that category, look no further! Nadege Hottier, head teacher and owner of Petite Division Ballet School in Williamsburg Brooklyn has just the thing: auditions for the popular holiday performance of the Nutcracker. Feel the excitement, celebrate the holidays, and try out for what is guaranteed to be a wonderfully classic production of the Nutcracker!

If you have yet to introduce your child to ballet, now is the opportunity!

The open audition is for everyone and you don’t have to be a student of the school to be cast for a role. Little or no experience required!

On January 5th, Petite Division will welcome children and their families to their first performance in what has become a holiday tradition in New York City. Their goal to inspire children to fall in love with ballet through this unique experience by bringing the magic of classical ballet during the holidays.

Between their 2pm & 5pm shows, children will have the opportunity to see what goes on backstage at the ballet, what it takes to bring a show to an audience- from the lighting designer to costume to the stage manager and music director. They will also take part in rehearsals and share the stage with professional dancers and students from Premiere Division. Participants gain valuable training and experience working alongside professional, dancers and choreographers.
