As usual we have so much going on this week! A new exhibit opened this weekend at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum called Brooklyn Block Laboratory that allows kids to design and experiment with a variety of blocks like wood, foam and magnetic. We can’t wait to check it out! Also Pterosaurs: Flight in the Age of Dinosaurs just opened at the American Museum of Natural History and that is on our must see list too!
Looking for a toddler group? Brooklyn Doodles has a new group starting this week at JACK that you can drop into. Also happening this week are some free events like Superhero Storytime at Brooklyn Central Public Library, a jTot Passover Sensory Experience and Disco Time with Yoni at Brooklyn Heights Brooklyn Public Library! Don’t forget about the ongoing Bessies’s Big Shot at Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre in Central Park!

Pterosaurs: Flight in the Age of Dinosaurs at the American Museum of Natural History (UWS)

In the new exhibition Pterosaurs: Flight in the Age of Dinosaurs, rare fossils, life-size models, and hands-on interactives bring these ancient animals to life. Step back in time to see pterosaurs, including giants such as Tropeognathus mesembrinus,with a wingspan of more than 25 feet, and find out how they moved on land and in the air. Get a first-hand look at the rare pterosaur fossils that have helped paleontologists learn all that we know about these animals. In a virtual flight lab, use your body to pilot a pterosaur over a prehistoric landscape. Encounter the exceptional creatures that flew in the age of dinosaurs.

First we will travel back through time for a child-friendly re-enactment of the key historical events of the Exodus.
