The first weekend of fall and the last weekend of September! This weekend is full of events for everyone!
Head over to the Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum for the Breukelen Country Fair & then check out the DUMBO Arts Festival going on all weekend! Also happening this weekend is the Atlantic Antic where you can visit the NY Transit Museum Bus Festival, Chile Pepper Festival at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the Ragamuffin Parade in Bay Ridge and the Jeff Koons Family Day at the Whitney Museum of American Art!
This is the final weekend for on Governors Island and CMA/Free Arts Island Outpost! Some other events happening all weekend and ongoing is The Old Man and The Old Moon at the New Victory Theater, the Halloween Harvest at Luna Park & the Amazing Maize Maze at Queens County Farm Museum!

Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s (BBG) hotly anticipated Chile Pepper Festival returns for its 22nd year on Saturday, September 27, 2014. One of the longest-running festivals of its kind on the East Coast, BBG’s Chile Pepper Festival features a full day of fiery live music and dance performances from international musicians; unique culinary creations showcasing chile peppers, spicy chocolates, and more; botanic tours of BBG’s own chile pepper plantings; a farmers’ market offering unusual peppers from around the world; and other activities inspired by the wide range of cultures that grow and use the chile. Prospect Park Carousel Fall Hours

Kick off spring with a ride on the Park’s beautiful 102 year-old carousel. Located in the Park’s “Children’s Corner,” the Carousel features 51 magnificently carved horses, a lion, a giraffe, a deer, and two dragon-pulled chariots. Carved in 1912 by Charles Carmel, one of the foremost carousel designers of the time, and restored by the Prospect Park Alliance in 1990, the Carousel promises that classic summertime amusement will be available for generations of fun. In addition, the Prospect Park Carousel is one of the few in the world that is wheelchair accessible.
