This Sunday, Taro’s Origami Studio in Park Slope will be hosting a group of the most “gifted” mom entrepreneurs in Brooklyn, who will be exhibiting a distinctive selection of eco-friendly, Brooklyn-made, organic & natural products – representing quality, uniqueness, and attention to detail – the best of what Brooklyn is known for! Join them in celebrating moms and women entrepreneurs. Not only are many of the products perfect for Mother’s Day, all proceeds from the event’s raffle (a chance to win a basket of goodies contributed by all participating brands, a retail value of over $250) will benefit CHIPS, a Park Slope soup kitchen which also offers shelter to young moms and kids. The donation will be in memory of Ali Pomeroy, a local entrepreneur and mom who passed away after a battle with cancer earlier this year.
