Now that our kids are back in the classroom after a long summer, it’s time to think about after school enrichment, extra curricular activities, and for many of us, school support services and tutoring. Bee Tutored was founded in 2005 by Kate Prichard, a classroom teacher in NYC. Her team of experienced tutors provide one-on-one attention covering K-12 and specializing in G&T prep, NYS ELA/MATH prep, homework assistance, organizational skills and college prep. They also provide language support for Dual Language students.
Bee Tutored hires tutors with advanced degrees in their subjects and classroom teaching experience. They will design an individualized plan for your child and travel to your home or meet in a preferred location. They have an easy-to-use online portal for parents to keep track of schedules, payments, and review the notes prepared by the tutor after each session.
The online portal will also be a social platform for parent-to-parent connections for sharing experiences and resources. Parents will be kept informed of giveaways, weekend activities, practice exam dates, and more.
Bee Tutor hosts and exhibits at events around New York City. You can visit their Events Page for details. Check out their upcoming Back to School event in Washington Park on 5th Avenue and 3rd Street in Park Slope on Friday, September 18th from 3:30pm-6pm. Along with after school treats and fun giveaways, they will be asking your child to share his or her school year resolution.
Bee Tutored will also be exhibiting at the upcoming French Mornings Bilingual Fair on October 3rd from 9am-5pm at Hunter College.
