Toddler Yoga at Lucky Lotus Yoga (Fort Greene)

Tuesday September 29th 4-445p. Free demo class. Anza Music is a music classes in Spanish for children and babies! Specializing in guitar, flute, xylophone and more. Fun classes for all ages.
Tuesdays at The Pavilion: Arts & Crafts in Union Square Park
Tuesdays 3-5p until October 13th. Free. Union Square Park’s playground isn’t the only place kids can have fun in the park! Bring your little ones to The Pavilion in the North Plaza every Tuesday at 3 p.m. to explore fun new topics every month through arts and crafts!
Little New Yorkers at DiMenna Children’s History Museum (UWS)
Tuesdays and Fridays from 330-415p. Free with museum admission, for ages 3-5y. Each class will include time with historic toys, a special Little New-Yorkers hello song, story readings, and a related craft project.

Circle Time with Vanessa at Boulevard Books & Cafe (Dyker Heights)
Wednesdays at 11a. No RSVP needed. First come, first served. Boulevard Books presents Circle Time with Vanessa! We invite you to join us with your little ones as Vanessa engages them with stories and songs and more!! Circle Time will be held every Wednesday. Mark you calendars, tell your nannies and make it a date! This 30-45 minute time will include songs about the weather, days of the week, classic rhymes, and books about friendship, colors, working together along with other important early learning concepts.
Ready Set Kindergarten Science Kits with Read Aloud at Brooklyn Public Library (Sunset Park)
Wednesday September 30th 330-430p. Free. Also happening Monday October 5th & 19th at 330p. Children work with different materials to increase their knowledge of science and other topics. For ages 3 and up. A read aloud is part of the activity.
Hip Hop Dance at Play Kids (Prospect Lefferts Gardens)
Wednesdays 430p. $18/child. For ages 5-10y. This Hip Hop class has no boundaries. No dancer is alike; each one has their own rhythm, style and attack. This funky, groovy and Wild class is for the kids. One of the best parts about dance is that it is a form of expression. So let’s express ourselves, have fun and stay healthy!

Hansel and Gretel’s Halloween Adventure at The Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre
Thursday October 1st 1030a & 12n and ongoing at various times until October 31st. See website for more information. Ticket prices are: $7/children under 12, $10/all others. Hansel and Gretel’s Halloween Adventure picks up where the original Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre production leaves off; with the pair’s pet swan Samantha flying the children back to their humble home after their wild escapade in the forest. Safely back at home during the Halloween season; Hansel and Gretel experience the most vivid dreams where Central Park and the Belvedere Castle serve as the backdrop for a magical explosion of music, dance and exciting encounters with a host of lovable characters. The brother and sister team once again embark on an adventure where beautiful mermaids, adorable monsters, swashbuckling pirates, charming vampires and a fabulous witch all intertwine for one unforgettable Halloween night in New York City.
Nature Prints for Sukkot at The Jewish Museum (UES)
Thursday October 1st 1-4p also Friday October 2nd. Free with Museum admission. For ages 3 & up. Create festive prints using photo-sensitive paper, light, and objects from nature to produce an image in the spirit of Sukkot inspired by photography on view. Collage your print to make a playful wall decoration for a Sukkah or your room.
Children’s Story Time at P.S. Bookshop (DUMBO)
Thursdays 4-5p. $5/family. DUMBO’s popular play date! An hour of stories, songs & discussions of current affairs covering topics such as” what’s our favorite food? how do we feel about going to bed on time? younger siblings – are they necessary? are we potty trained or not yet? and other pressing matters. Play Time at Play Kids (Prospect Lefferts Gardens)
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1-3p. $10/child. For ages 0-3y. Open Play sessions offer a fun and affordable way to get together with other children and parents/caregivers. Children share playtime with age-appropriate toys (balls, cars, blocks, puzzles) while building connections with each other. Save money by buying a Class Pass, one free class and bring a friend.
Sensory Room Family Hours at Brooklyn Children’s Museum (Crown Heights)
Tuesdays & Thursdays & Saturday-Sunday 2-445p. For all ages. Free with museum admission. The Sensory Room is an inclusive space where children of all abilities can engage with their peers and explore their senses. This room provides a welcoming environment for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
Play Space at LuLu’s then & now (Park Slope/Gowanus)
Daily (excluding holidays) from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm. Please allow us time between 1pm and 2pm for maintenance. Rates: $12 per session (10am-1pm or 2pm to 5pm) for the first child and $6 for siblings. Or, purchase a 10-pack for $105. Admission to events at the Play Space is on first come first serve basis. Our Play Space is a beautiful room filled with innovative, stimulating, modern toys and a well curated library for your tot to explore, imagine and create with. Playtimes at Norman & Jules (Park Slope)
Mondays 930-530p & Tuesday-Fridays 930a-3p September & October. $12/first child, additional child $6. Package 10 for $108. Our backyard is intended for ages 6m to 5y. We do not offer drop-offs. Caregivers must be with their children at all times.
Art in the Park in Madison Square Park (Flatiron)
Mondays & Wednesdays 10a-2p until September 30th. No sessions on the last Monday of each month (7/27, 8/31 & 8/28). Free. The Mad. Sq. Park Teaching Artist can be found in the Moira Ann Smith Playground each Monday and Wednesday from June 1 – September 30 with free hands-on creative arts activities at 10am and 2pm. Children are encouraged to participate in free flowing art-based activities. Adult supervision is required.
