Citi Bike is soon coming to Park Slope, as Community Board 6 (CB6) has unanimously approved the Department of Transportation’s plan for the expansion into the Park Slope and Gowanus neighborhoods, as well as Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, the Columbia Street Waterfront District, and and Red Hook. Expected completion of the expansion should be in 2017. Here is a detailed map of the proposed station locations.
This is part of a citywide plan to add 139 Citi Bike docking stations throughout New York City. The Brooklyn Paper notes 62 of those stations will come to Brooklyn.
