RECALL ALERT: Frozen Fruits and Vegetables

CRF Frozen Foods has expanded their recall of a long list of brands of frozen fruits and vegetables because of a listeria outbreak. Listeria is no joke and can cause miscarriage or still birth in pregnant women, so please read the recall list very carefully, as it includes conventional and organic products across multiple brand names, including some carried by family favorites such as Costco, Trader Joe’s and Aldi, so check your freezers!

According to CRF, all frozen (organic and conventional) fruit and vegetables manufactured or processed at CRF Foods’ Pasco, Washington facility since May 1, 2014 are included. Look for best by or sell by dates between April 26, 2016 and April 26, 2018. It’s a huge recall, affecting about 358 products under 42 different brands, so check the complete list and look carefully through your freezer to make sure you don’t miss any potentially affected products.

Stay Healthy, Readers!
