Arriba! Abajo! Let’s learn Spanish and Dance with 123 Andres

We’d love to share with you a new collection of songs that takes bilingual learning to a wonderful place: Arriba Abajo is the name of the newest record from 123 Andres. Keep your eyes peeled…It will be available to the public on June 10th, and it comes with our stamp of approval! It is the successor to his Latin Grammy-nominated debut album Uno, Dos, Tres, Andres! en espanol y en ingles. In the new ensemble, Samba, Cumbia, Joropo, Cha cha cha, and folk are all featured within the 21 songs that are in both Spanish and English.

The songs explore a world of objects that go “Arriba y Abajo,” up and down, like the musical scale, ten little birds, and a seed that sprouts when we plant it in the ground.

The album is accompanied by a 35-page Learning Guide full of fun and interactive activities families and educators can use to build on the songs to extend the learning. Developed in conjunction with a master classroom teacher, the Learning Guide explores numbers, language acquisition, pre-reading, early science concepts, and more, with activities in both English and Spanish.
