We thought we’d share an exciting event scheduling with you all, starting this weekend! It’s The Little Orchestra Society’s Musical World Tour and it will be at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum. What could be more fun than soaking up this worldly musical event with your little sweethearts? Read all about it, and try to go if you can! Your kids will have so much fun…
The Little Orchestra Society is excited to announce a new series of family workshops at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum. The series, entitled A Musical World Tour, is designed to excite and engage children, parents and caregivers by building on Brooklyn’s cultural diversity to connect to music of the world. Through music, stories and participatory activities, children will develop a deeper understanding of each selected community and its influences on and contributions to the melting pot that is New York City. Musical Instruments from BCM’s “Please Touch” collection will be a part of each session – kids will learn about and explore music making each step along the way!
