Brooklyn’s Ground Floor Gallery- Affordable, Emerging Art

Ground Floor Gallery is Park Slope’s only commercial art space. They are an intimate, accessible, and family-friendly environment where you can learn about and buy original art without breaking the bank! Gallery owners, Jill Benson (a long-time Park Slope home owner) and Krista Scenna, connect local, emerging artists in their network to new art buyers and seasoned collectors interested in up-and-coming talent. “We start by working, mostly, with artists who do not have commercial representation. They are under-represented and building their reputations which makes the price of their work more accessible and adds an exciting discovery element for the buyer! We then select work from their studios and work closely with each artist to determine the installation, pricing and presentation of their work.”

Visit Ground Floor Gallery’s summer show before August 14th to see limited-edition prints by 23 artists! They are also happy to extend a 15% summer discount to A Child Grows in Brooklyn readers towards their
first art purchase at $200 or above! This is an amazing chance to get some art in your home before the school season gets into full swing, and you’ll need some creative inspiration all around you.

If you haven’t, don’t forget to enter the GIVEAWAY we are doing with them for a piece of artwork!

Join them for a closing cocktails reception for the #NEWCOLLECTORBK: THE PRINT EDITION on August 11th from 6-8:30 pm. This show is on view until August 14th, 2016.
