Two days of Circus Performances in Marcus Garvey Park, Harlem

We love giving the heads-up for good times! What could be more fun than watching circus performances at dusk with your family? Sometimes, a jaunt into Manhattan is simply worth it, and this is one of those times!  City Parks Foundation proudly presents an incredible, entertaining line-up on August 20/21 at 7pm in Marcus Garvey Park, Harlem.

Kalabante Circus, which is comprised of Guinean artists, will delight audiences with circus, dance, acrobatics, storytelling, acting and singing, with a West African flavor. The Guinean/Canadian artistic company is also a humanitarian project. Kalabante built and operates a school in Guinea, which offers both a circus school and traditional education, building the next generation of African circus artists. From Catalonia, Spain we will be joined by experimental dance company Iron Skulls and visual artist and speed-painter Quim Moya.
