The Language and Laughter Studio is located in Downtown Brooklyn. 2016 marks 10 years since The Language and Laughter Studio became what it is- a special learning center for children. They are a French-immersion pre-school and offer after-school classes. LLS also teaches after-school classes at the International Charter School, PS20, PS133, and Imagine Day Care Center. Their classes are interactive, art-based, and hands-on so children find pleasure in speaking French.

This class is a wonderful introduction and immersion into the French language for children ages 1.5 to 2.5 years old.
For each song, musical games in French will be provided to help children learn more vocabulary, develop musical, listening and physical coordination skills. Express your singing voice and emerging musical knowledge through rhythm, pitch, tempo and musical forms. Sing in a new repertoire of fun French songs and experience music through melodic and rhythmic games.

This program offers a unique, creative arts experience for children ages 2.5 through 4 years old.
Musician and teacher, Emilie Weibel offers a rich sensory environment from exposing children to a wide variety of tastes, smells, textures, colors, and sounds. The program will encourage children exercise their imagination in French. This early introduction to stories, art and music in French does more than entertain- it kickstarts learning, serves as an important cue in a child’s routine, and offers lifelong benefits.
