The Lefferts Historic House in Prospect Park is a wonderful place to turn back the clock about two hundred years. You can experience life on a Flatbush Farm as it was back in the 1820’s, which is so educational for all vistors. There will be traditional board game play and candle making mixed into a range of other activities that folks in the 1820’s would have done on winter evenings when days were shorter and night came earlier. From November 3rd- January 1st on Saturdays and Sundays from 12-4pm, Lefforts Historic House is open for a suggested $3 donation (quite affordable). This Saturday, November 19th, The House will offer the work of the Brooklyn Quilter’s Guild, and you can make our own paper quilt collage.
