The Lefferts Historic House in Prospect Park is a wonderful place to turn back the clock about two hundred years. You can experience life on a Flatbush Farm as it was back in the 1820’s, which is so educational for all vistors. There will be traditional board game play and candle making mixed into a range of other activities that folks in the 1820’s would have done on winter evenings when days were shorter and night came earlier. From November 3rd- January 1st on Saturdays and Sundays from 12-4pm, Lefforts Historic House is open for a suggested $3 donation (quite affordable). This Saturday, November 19th, The House will offer the work of the Brooklyn Quilter’s Guild, and you can make our own paper quilt collage. On Sunday, November 30th you can try more amazing historically significant activities (and a visit from Saint Nicholas at 3pm!)… RSVP HERE. Enjoy!
