Kindergarten is a major milestone in your child’s life, and the right school for your family can potentially mean years of educational enrichment at the same place. Brooklyn has so many wonderful options, each with its own special charm! The whole experience can feel overwhelming, but don’t stress. The Department of Education’s Kindergarten applications are due by January 13th, and there are three ways to apply:
- Online via the Department of Ed.’s application site.
- Over the phone by calling 718-935-2400 between 8am and 6pm, excluding holidays.
- In person at a Family Welcome Center between 8am and 3pm, excluding holidays.
