Here are 5 great ways to stay healthy and happy with your family this winter.
1. Fit in fitness. Did you know being active as a family improves bonding and teaches good habits? Break in your skates on the rink, or join in on a snowball fight. Or, head indoors for a game of basketball at your local YMCA.
2. Wash your hands. Washing your hands is often one of the easiest and most effective ways to fight winter illness. Winter is definitely no fun if you’re stuck on the couch with a cold!
3. Learn something new. Avoid seasonal boredom by trying something new. Winter is a great time to change up the routine by signing-up for a weekly class – try ballet, swim, or indoor track.
