Sunday March 15th 2p. For ages 6+. General admission: $10, children 12 and under $7. Charlie Chaplin’s final silent film—enlivened by bits of inventive sound design—is an imaginative and hilarious send-up of the modern industrialized world. Mixing the joyfulness of Chaplin’s comedy gags with a satire of modern bureaucracy, Modern Times remains the funniest of the comedian’s social critiques.
