Before this lockdown, I received several books for review from one of my favorite small presses, Workman. They publish Sandra Boynton, which is just a never-ending stream of joy. That lady never stops.
Anyway, they send me these amazing tyvek style books called Indestructibles that are designed for babies. They are chew proof, rip proof, nontoxic, washable… you have probably seen them around.
There are some great titles like Let’s Be Kind and Let’s Go Outside, but we all know that the titles don’t matter that much for the chewing age. They have bright colors and happy images.
I think they would make a great gift for someone with a kid that might still be too young for Goodnight Moon.
Once the
baby is done with them, they can use them to make a wallet!
I’m also enjoying the new Sandra Boynton of course (I know there is always a new one!).
YOUR NOSE is a sweet song clearly designed to give parents permission to get all gooey with their babies and claim they are readying.
