Monday July 6th
Lavender Blues Virtual Class
Mondays 1030-1115a until August 24th. $12/class. For ages 0m-4y. (adult participation required). A virtual music and movement class for babies and toddlers. Join us as we sing and play for 40 minutes through music and movement with traditional nursery rhymes as well as our own. Grab your instrument, a stuffy and a blanket to use as a parachute! With games, dancing & bubbles of course, we bring Lady B & Lavender Blues into your home! You will receive an email 30 minutes before class with the Zoom class invitation. Register here.

Summer Musikgarten: Family Music Class
Tuesdays 930-1015a until August 25th. $15/class. For ages 0-3y (adult participation required). Join here and activity access information will be sent by email. Have fun making music with your little one. No instruments required (we will use household items)!
Goose Grease Shop: Threes & Fours Tuesday Art Club
Tuesdays 10-1025a until July 28th. $20/day. Ages 2.5-5y. Join our Brazilian teaching artist, Julia Brandao, as she explores relevant topics with your three and four year olds! Each week will be different. Our artist will sing with your child and explore colors and shape through process art. Note: Please have your artist ready with paper, something to draw with, and watercolor paints.

A Virtual Concert: Imagine Your Story: A Music, Bubble, and Comedy Show
Wednesday July 8th 1-145p. Free. The Virtual Concert: Imagine Your Story is our signature music, bubble, and comedy show featuring bubbles, flying books, dancing unicorns, and songs about autism awareness and acceptance! Join us for this novel 30-minute performance which will be accompanied by dancing, singing, imaginative storytelling, laughter, and a love for the public library system. Dancewave: Creative Dance
Wednesdays 330-415p until July 29th. $10/drop in or $35 for 4 weeks. For ages 3-6y. Creative Dance introduces class takers to the world of dance through playful prompts and guided explorations. Classes are highly imaginative and encourage creativity through engagement with props, sensations and sound. Students will practice various exercises that focus on coordination, improvisation, energy and composition. All class takers are encouraged to investigate their own way of moving in a structured and supportive environment. Register here.

Karma Kids: Yoga Story Time

BPL Summer Reading: Science Edutainment
Thursday July 9th 2-3p. Free. Spells & Potion Science! Welcome to the online laboratory of Bill Louden Science! “Brainy Bill” amazes and amuses crowds of all ages and sizes with his incredible live science demonstrations. Join Brainy Bill for a hands-on, wands-up science workshop. We’ll learn the secrets behind some classic spells and potions, including a bag that burps, levitating toilet paper, and maybe see some louder, messier potions! You can just tune in to watch or gather some materials and mix up the concoctions yourself. See the website for information on materials needed.

Friday July 10th
Summer Kids: Tots Sing and Play
Fridays 11a until August 14th, we will have Tots Sing and Play with Teaching Artist Collective. While all events are free, pre-registration for each event is required. Register here. The programs will be hosted through Zoom and the link will be sent out to all registered participants in advance of the program. Links will be sent one hour before class – participants who register less than one hour before class will not have access to that week’s program and will receive the link the next week.
Scattered Solutions: Let’s Get Active for Elementary Athletes
Friday 230-3p until August 28th also Wednesdays 230p until August 26th. $10/class. For ages 7-11y. Let’s Get Active is a fun and engaging class where scholars can grow their mind and body awareness. In this class, Coach Amanda focuses on different body movements while playing fun games that work on balance and control of ones body. Working on different locomotor skills and doing different yoga stretches to clear our young scholars minds and ease their stress. By the end of class, scholars will feel calm and refreshed after a good workout with Coach Amanda. Materials Needed: Water Bottle. Creatively Wild Art Studio: Creative Playtime for Toddlers with DM & BLU
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 9-945a until August 31st. $20/class (class packages also available). Suitable for Toddlers ages 22 months- 3.5 yrs. Our fun, engaging summer online playtime class for Toddlers is hosted by our very own DM (our creative director /owner) and will include an awesome art project, a story & a sing-song! Brought to you in the comfort of your own home during these challenging times. This is a 45 minute immersive adventure & the perfect way to keep your tiny one engaged & inspired. Children’s Museum of Manhattan at Home
Activities in a daily email newsletter. Free. While the Museum is closed, our CMOM educators are still working to fill your child’s day with engaging interactive activity. CMOM can still be a part of your day through videos, sing-a-longs, games and so much more for you to do together with your family at home!
