It’s getting colder and holidays are approaching…which means more school breaks will be here before we know it! If you’re wondering what to do with kids this year, we hear you. Most of the camps in our round-up have early and late options and some camps even cover those tricky unexpected half days.

TADA! When School is out, TADA! is in! Back by popular demand! TADA! is excited to offer our Week-long Public & Private School Break Camps for ages 4-5 & 6-11 this February, March, and April!
Write it! Rehearse it! PREMIERE IT! Share your voice and be heard! Each week, students work as an ensemble to co-create an original mini-musical based on the assigned show title for the week. It’s the perfect blend of musical theater training, storytelling, and fun theater games to keep young minds engaged, active, and having a blast all week long! At the end of the week, they’ll be ready to take the stage with confidence and perform their very own original musical for a live audience! In need of Financial Assistance? Brooklyn Robot Foundry 
Build better days off from school with Brooklyn Robot Foundry! Kids will love all of the creative fun, especially the cool robot projects they’ll make, and take home, each day! Each Foundry Funday features a different theme, with robot-building, games, crafts, outdoor play (weather permitting), and other fun to keep kids engaged! These fun-filled days almost always sell out, so it’s best to book early. 9a-3p, with an optional extended day until 5:30p. TREASURE TRUNK THEATRE
Treasure Trunk will be offering outdoor and indoor camp options for November 8th & 11th and indoor camps the last two weeks in December! Our programming focuses on encouraging your kiddo to explore through social-emotional learning, collaboration, and imaginative play. Whether your child already enjoys performing or is a little hesitant, our camps are aimed to get them excited about being themselves!
For our November camps, kiddos will be entering the enchanting world of Encanto…learning exciting choreography to music from the film, acting out the story alongside their fellow campers and creating unique themed crafts each day. Our December camps will celebrate the magic of the season with a Frozen theme for week one, and a Polar Express theme for week two.

Child’s Play NY
Join Child’s Play NY for dramatic play holiday camps! In these programs, campers create stories together, sing, dance and activate their imaginations. Working alongside talented theater teachers, they jump inside literature and act out adventures. The games build their social-emotional and executive function skills as well as teach joyful ways they can play at home too.
Splat Camp
Join Splat Camp in Windsor Terrace this February Break because while school is closed, it’s time to have FUN! Campers aged 3-10 will be immersed in a summer camp-styled schedule and each day will participate in fun STEAM activities, an Anthropology Arts lesson, and select movement games! Our popular and proven developmentally-appropriate programming will keep your kids engaged and excited to come back each day! Campers will have outdoor time at one of the three area parks (weather permitting), and will love telling you about the amazing time they had whether they have attended a Splat Camp in the past, want to attend more in the future, or are just there to try it out! | Price: $595 for complete week, $129 per day. Trail Blazers The nature-oriented Brooklyn day camp gets kids away from screens to engage in outdoor play and learning over Christmas Break, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Lunar New Year, and February Mid-Winter Break. Kids (grades PreK-5) bundle up and spend time outside connecting with nature and going on outdoor adventures where they learn about the environment and play with friends.
Brooklyn Game Lab – Offers school break camps for every day school is out, even conference half days! Camps start for kindergarten now.
Creatively Wild Art Studio – Full and half day Holiday Camps for ages 6+. They cover a huge variety of artistic media including Drawing, Painting, Anime, Mixed Media, Found Object Art, Collage, Graffiti, 3D Work & more. Full day camps include outdoor activities and lunch weather permitting. Multiple dates in November and December. Pricing is per day.
Textile Arts Center (TAC): – We offer full day mini-sessions of classes for kids aged 5-11 when they are on break from school – even one day camps! In these classes, students explore subjects such as weaving, sewing, embroidery, printing, felting, and dyeing. Each day is dedicated to a textile process with time for outdoor play.Each Mini Camp costs $145* per day. Drop-off is at 9am and pick-up is at 5pm. Please supply your child with lunch and two snacks. The Brooklyn Strategistis a community-based game center that provides an enriched learning environment for children and families to develop of problem-solving, reasoning, and social mediation skills. It is a tabletop game center where kids can come to disconnect from from the internet and enjoy Chess, Dungeons & Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, and a library of over 350 board games. Dates: Winter Break Camp (12/26/2022-01/02/2023); President’s Week Camp (02/20/2023-02/24/2023)
